Google it!!!
Sometimes people say certain things, then close their statement with “I checked it on Google”.
This may be a trap. They are not really interested in you verifying the information. In fact, manipulative people may not want you to verify the information at all.
That statement, “I checked it on Google” is designed to make you believe that whatever they have said is true.
You may think, since they’ve checked Google then their claim must be legit.
You, who hasn't done any research will start spreading the story and telling people that it is on Google. You can even lie by saying you also verified it on Google. This singular act can create a “pyramid of falsehood”.
By the way, not everything you see on Google search results is true or correct. Well, that’s a conversation for another day.
Please “Stay woke”.
Confirm stories and events from reputable sources before spreading them.
The end.
